VERSATILE DAKOTA 410 HELPS ISS LANDSCAPING EXTEND CONTRACT AT

The purchase of a Dakota 410 mounted Turf Tender is helping ISS Facility Services Landscaping deliver excellent maintenance service to its customers.
ISS is the largest grounds maintenance service provider in the UK. With contracts nationwide, they employ more than 1,500 core and 100 seasonal staff who operate from over 40 depots and offices.
The Dakota 410 is specially designed to be easily body mounted on Toro Workman and John Deere ProGator trucksters. It is renowned for its dual spinner discharge system which facilitates an exceptionally wide spread pattern, while consistently maintaining accuracy of application. When using a 1.8m wide tractor bucket, both wet and dry materials can be loaded with ease.
Calibration is straightforward with no manual adjustment required, allowing light to heavy dressing. If the tasks are varied, so is the range of optional accessories which can be added, for example, to change the method of fill for bunkers and drainage runs. Servicing after regular use or general maintenance is made that much more accessible due to its hydraulic lift function.
The machine's first task for ISS was to apply topdressing on the course at one of the company's long standing
customers, Wychwood Park Golf Club. Their strong relationship with Ashley Oakes, the club's Head Greenkeeper, has recently resulted in them receiving a GEM Award for their outstanding work, continuous improvement and high standards achieved through the extensive winter programme.
GEM Awards are internal accolades given by ISS to their staff in recognition of outstanding work. "I'm extremely proud of the guys and thankful for the hard work they put in to achieve these standards," said Chris Beamer, ISS Contract Manager. "It's thanks to their efforts that our contract with Wychwood Park could be extended for a further three years."
