New Tine In One holds
cost-effective answer

The Tine In One universal tine holder from Tines Direct instantly solves a major headache for turf professionals who need to regularly change the tines on their aeration equipment.
The Tine In One can accept virtually all tines available on the market, doing away with the expensive alternative of having to keep a large number of individual holders.

Regular aeration is essential for healthy turf. It lets in air, improves drainage and invigorates the grass. But it has to be tailored carefully for optimum results. Golf tees and golf greens, for example, typically require different treatments, in terms of the width, length and shape of the tines used.

Climatic conditions and the amount of time available for regular turf maintenance work also have to be taken into consideration.

To achieve the maximum benefits, turf managers previously have had to furnish a considerable area of their equipment stores to housing several different tine heads for their various aerators, so that the most appropriate tines can be fitted to the right machine.

Tines Direct’s Tine In One does away with this. The universal head can accept solid, hollow core, needle, chisel and cross tines of various lengths, meaning that the one holder can be left on a machine and fitted with the tines required.

The innovative product also enables different manufacturers’ tines to be fitted to other machines, again increasing efficiency and making economies. Tines Direct believes that the cost of a set of six Tine In One holders is approximately 60% less than buying individual tine holders of specific makes.

The Tine In One will be launched at the BTME Exhibition in Harrogate, from 18-20 January.
