Daniel gets a kick out of Campeys

Campey Turf Care Systems’ customers include many sports grounds, so their new Sales Representative, Daniel Torr, will be very much at home. Twenty-seven year old Daniel is a sports fanatic who plays football and rugby, as well as enjoying swimming. He even has a blue belt in kickboxing.

Daniel, who holds an honours degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Salford, has for the past five years worked in the west of Ireland for McHale Engineering. He was involved closely in quality control and PDI checking.

The son of a Cheshire dairy farmer, Daniel is delighted to be returning to the area working for Macclesfield-based Campeys. He is no stranger to the company having worked for the turf equipment specialists in the past during his summer vacations from University. He is also an enthusiast of computer systems and internet technology and is looking forward to putting these skills to work within the Campey sales and support operations.

“We all welcome Daniel on board,” says Managing Director Richard Campey. “His talents will be a real asset to the business – but I doubt he’ll have many opportunities to use his kickboxing skills.”
