Campey Turf Care demonstrates its quality

They say that actions speak louder than words, and that certainly proved true for Campey Turf Care, who once again successfully staged two summer Open Days at their Macclesfield headquarters.

Groundsmen and greenkeepers were able to witness first-hand the quality and performance of the purpose-built turf maintenance equipment available from the company, which distributes machinery throughout the UK and Europe.

What made the Open Days particularly effective were the working demonstrations that ran throughout the afternoons. These enabled turf professionals to see the benefits that could be achieved quickly. Products displayed included Koro sports turf renovation machinery, the newly designed turf tenders from Dakota and Raycam Hi-Lift Trailers, Speedressers and Dragmats.

Participants also included experts from manufacturers for which Campey Turf Care are also dealers, including Charterhouse Turf Machinery, New Holland, Dennis, Trimax and Imants. They were on hand to offer advice on product selection and operation, tailored to individuals’ circumstances.

“The Open Days were excellent,” comments Richard Heywood of Charterhouse Turf Machinery. “We met enthusiastic and dedicated professionals who wanted to learn more about the latest equipment and techniques. They really appreciated being able to see products put through their paces, and we came away with lots of requests for individual demonstrations at turf managers’ own facilities.”

“We are delighted by the response from all who participated,” adds Managing Director Richard Campey. “Our Open Days enable turf professionals to see how quickly and simply they can rejuvenate turf using specialist equipment. Our staff, and those from our suppliers, put much effort into staging these events, and it’s great to know they are of value.”

The Open Days also gave Campey Turf Care the opportunity to show off their extensive new buildings that demonstrate the company’s substantial investment in customer service.
