Campeys’ Complete Collection
BTME 2008 Preview
STAND B35
Just as greenkeepers constantly strive to improve turf quality for golfers, so Campey Turf Care Systems seek out the best in grounds maintenance equipment. BTME 2008, taking place in Harrogate on 22-24 January, enables the go-ahead company to show the latest additions to its range.
Highlighted innovations will include the ingenious Raycam Aera-Seeder, which combines the seed box and spiked roller, designed for optimum flow and accurate placement in the ground.

Campeys offer the Vredo super-compact overseeder in 0.8m, 1.2m and 1.6m widths, their narrow dimensions give great manoeuvrability and a lightweight footprint, at a seeding width of 35mm. The cutter discs create precise slots with minimal ground disturbance, and the machines are available in both towed and 3-point tractor-linkage versions. Also available is the Vredo compact overseeder, a slightly larger machine with working widths of 1.4m, 1.8m and 2.2m.
The recently launched Raycam TrunkPump will also be displayed. Designed for the fast removal of surface waterlogging and for clearing flooded bunkers or gullies, the unit is powered by the tractor’s PTO rather than using a separate petrol or diesel engine.
BTME visitors can also see the latest developments on the popular Koro Field Top Maker (FTM) machines, which enable fast rejuvenation of sports surfaces by removing compacted soil layers, thatch and shallow rooting grasses, deep scarification up to 45mm and clean up in one pass. Modular design on all models 1.2m– 2.5m enables either collector or conveyor elevator to be fitted.
Campeys also distribute the high work-rate Dakota Turf Tender top-dresser range that can transport materials, top-dress, spread fertiliser and sow seed. Width of application is easily adjusted and the rear discharge spinner mechanism distributes material evenly, wet or dry. A new addition is the Dakota D606 Soil Mover/Box Scraper that achieves the perfect level on tees and can incorporate laser controls
Campeys will also promote the ever-popular line-up of Raycam rubber dragmats. These are available in a complete range of sizes and configurations for all applications. Topping the range are the new 20mm-thick versions that are twice the depth of conventional mats and which are offered in bigger sizes for work on large turf expanses. A 12mm option is also available for use on fine turf.
