The Thatchmaster Verticutting cassettes are used to prevent thatch accumulation and cut through stolons and rhizomes in fine turf.

Regular use of the Thatchmaster cassette will improve surface texture expecially when used in conjunction with light top-dressing.

  TurfWorks Ultra Grooma

With 90 Tungsten Carbide tipped blades spaced at an incredible 5mm apart, this cassette is ensuring greens turf is maintained in the best possible conditions.

It helps minimise puffiness in both high density creeping bent and Bermuda grass and removes unsightly seed heads in Poa annua turf with minimial fuss.

On newly established greens it can help reduce the ingress of Poa annua by “grabbing” individual Poa plants before they have chance to take hold.

  TurfWorks Sarel Roller

Continual rolling whilst cutting and the effects of air borne silt can create surface sealing on fine turf. This can lead to decreased water infiltration rates and a reduction in gas exchange between the atmosphere and the rootzone leading to high CO2 soil levels and anaerobic conditions.

Regular use of the Sarel roller can alleviate surface sealing with minimal
surface disruption.

  TurfWorks Star Spiker

TurfWorks Star Spiker is an alternative method of reducing surface sealing but uses the same principles as the Sarel Roller.

For Turf Managers who prefer an elongated form as opposed to a circular pattern this is the spiker for you.

  TurfWorks Scarifier

For greens that already have thatch at depth the TurfWorks Scarifier Cassette is the obvious choice.

The five bladed super tough 2mm tipped blades spaced 4 0mm apart are more than up to the task. The brush spacers ensure a hygienic clean-up and effective throwing of the removed thatch into the grass catchers.
