 F.A.Q.

TurfWorks International would like to take this opportunity to thank John Deere, Ransomes Jacobsen and Toro for their help in the development of the TurfWorks system, and with the continued use of equipment for our testing and exhibition use.

Q: If I buy TurfWorks now to fit my John Deere 2500, what happens in a couple of years if I change model to say a Jacobsen GKVI, will I have to buy a new set of TurfWorks?

A: Absolutely not! TurfWorks is easily adapted to fit any of the main manufacturer’s triplex mowers.  All you have to do is buy a “change over kit” which consists of items such as relevant motor adapter plates and splines.  99% of the parts that go to make a set of TurfWorks are the same for all model configurations so you can buy in confidence happy that your investment is for the long term.  Your dealer will even do the change over for you for a small fee.

Q: How secure is a cassette when it’s in a chassis?

A: As long as the four bolts that make up part of the securing mechanism are tightened properly, the cassette will never come loose.  Our system is unrivalled for its simplistic yet safe fixing method – course mechanics love it!

Q: Is there any prospect of vibration being transmitted from the Vibro Roller cassette back through the power unit or damaging the hydraulic motors?

A: There is no question of this occurring.  The TurfWorks Vibro Cassette has undergone rigorous independent testing using some of the most modern analytical analysis equipment available.  Of the literally hundreds of Vibro Rollers currently being used throughout the world not a single hydraulic problem has occurred.  Our test rig at the factory has used the same hydraulic motor over its several thousand hours of trials with no failure.

Q: Is the Vibro Roller safe to use with the 2500E electric motors?

A: Yes.  The Vibro Roller has minimal torque requirement therefore little or no stress is placed on the electric motors.  Because so little torque is needed, maximum RPM from the motors can even be achieved when the engine is running at “tick-over” speed.

Q: Is it true that you offer a two year warranty on your system and does this include the Vibro Roller?

A: Yes.  All TurfWorks equipment is built to the same rigorous high standards that enable us to offer this facility.  We have conducted several thousands of hours of fatigue testing on the Vibro Roller to ensure you trouble free use.  We know you necessitate confidence and that’s what we aim to provide!

Q: Will TurfWorks fit my Fairway Mower?

A: TurfWorks will fit John Deere, Toro and Jacobsen lightweight fairway mowers with minimal adaptive parts required.  Please call us for more information.

Q: What can I expect form TurfWorks in the future?

A: TurfWorks International has a long-term commitment to ensure that the TurfWorks System is always at the forefront when it comes to innovative solutions to your needs.  New cassettes and other innovations are already in the pipeline and will be coming to market soon.
